Foods Program Regulations Under Development

The Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs in the Office of Management and Budget publishes the Unified Agenda of Regulatory and Deregulatory Actions each spring and fall.[1]  The Unified Agenda promotes transparency by providing information about most regulations administrative agencies, including FDA, plan to publish in the near and long term. While we intend to publish regulations according to timelines listed in the Unified Agenda, several factors may impact FDA’s ability to do so, including, for example, new Administration priorities, emerging public health issues, or other extenuating circumstances.
