Leadership Role
Erika Anderson has a wealth of FDA experience, having been at the Agency for over seventeen years. She serves as Deputy Director for the Office of Policy, Legislation, and International Affairs. In this role, she plays a critical role in facilitating the development and implementation of key policy initiatives and coordinating the packaging and issuance of key strategic projects.
Prior to joining OPLIA, Ms. Anderson served in a variety of roles within FDA’s Office of Regulatory Affairs including acting Deputy Associate Commissioner for Regulatory Affairs, Senior Advisor, Regulatory Counsel, and many others. In her work at ORA, Ms. Anderson worked on several high-profile projects including Program Alignment, strategic planning, quality management systems, the Food Emergency Response Network, and many other projects.
Ms. Anderson received her J.D. from the Washington College of Law at American University in D.C. and a M.P.A. from the University of North Texas.
