BAM Media M45: Duncan-Strong (DS) Sporulation Medium, Modified (for C. perfringens)

Proteose peptone 15 g
Yeast extract 4 g
Sodium thioglycollate 1 g
Na2HPO4.7H2O 10 g
Raffinose 4 g
Distilled water 1 liter

Dissolve ingredients and sterilize by autoclaving for 15 min at 121°C. Adjust to pH 7.8 ± 0.1, using filter-sterilized 0.66 M sodium carbonate.
