Additional Chemistry and Microbiology Resources Used by the Foods Program

Below you will find additional resources for use by FDA’s Foods Program and its government partners when conducting chemical and microbiological analyses.  These resources include protocols and training videos.  Some of the protocols may be displayed in their internal standard operation procedure (SOP) format.  Once a protocol has successfully undergone validation, its status will be updated and the protocol will be moved to the FDA Methods Compendium, when appropriate.  Videos on this page are to be used only in conjunction with their associated protocols, and only for educational and training purposes.  The content of these videos is not intended to substitute for the written protocols, but rather to provide context similar to that found during in-person training.
