BAM Media M83: Liver-Veal Agar

| Liver, infusion from | 50 g | Starch, soluble | 10 g |
| Veal, infusion from | 500 g | Casein, isoelectric | 2 g |
| Proteose peptone | 20 g | NaCl | 5 g |
| Neopeptone | 1.3 g | Sodium nitrate | 2 g |
| Tryptone | 1.3 g | Gelatin | 20 g |
| Dextrose | 5 g | Agar | 15 g |
| Distilled water | 1 liter | ||
Heat with agitation to dissolve. Autoclave 15 min at 121°C. Final pH, 7.3 ± 0.2.
