BAM Media M68: Iron Milk Medium (Modified)

Fresh whole milk 1 liter
Ferrous sulfate·7H2O 1 g
Distilled water 50 ml

Dissolve ferrous sulfate in 50 ml distilled water. Add slowly to 1 liter milk and mix with magnetic stirrer. Dispense 11 ml medium into 16 × 150 mm culture tubes. Autoclave 12 min at 118°C.

Prepare fresh medium before use.
