Tryptone or trypticase	20 g
Distilled water	1 liter

Adjust pH to 7.3 ± 0.2. Dispense 4 ml portions to 13 × 100 mm tubes. Autoclave 15 min at 121°C. Final pH, 7.2 ± 0.2.
