Pancreatic digest of gelatin	20.0 g
Magnesium chloride	1.4 g
Potassium sulfate	10.0 g
Agar	13.6 g
Cetrimide (cetyl trimethyl ammonium bromide)	0.3 g

Suspend 45.3 g of ingredients or commercial powder (Pseudosel^TM, BBL; Becton-Dickinson) in 1 liter of purified water. Add 10 ml glycerol. Mix well. Heat to boiling, agitating frequently; maintain boiling for 1 min to dissolve powder.

Autoclave at 118°C for 15 min.

Final pH, 7.2 ± 0.2. Bacto cetrimide agar base plus glycerol (Difco) is a similar medium.
