BAM Media M156: Trypticase Soy Broth Modified (mTSB)

Trypticase soy broth 30.0 g
Bile salts No. 3 1.5 g
Dipotassium phosphate 1.5 g
Novobiocin solution (R50) 0.2 ml
Deionized water 1 liter

Autoclave mTSB without novobiocin and let cool to room temperature. Final pH, 7.4 +/- 0.2. For chapter 24, gene probe method, add novobiocin just before adding food.
