Trypticase 10 g
NaCl 10 g
Agar (if solid medium is preferred) 20 g
Distilled water 1 liter

Heat if necessary to dissolve ingredients. Dispense into 16 × 125 mm screw-cap tubes (if tubed medium is required). Autoclave 15 min at 121°C. Slant tubes until cool or let medium cool to 50 °C and pour into 15 × 100 mm petri dishes. Final pH, 7.1 ± 0.2.
