BAM Media M131: Pyrazinamidase Agar

Bacteriological Analytical Manual

Tryptic soy agar (M152) 30 g
Yeast extract 3 g
Pyrazine-carboxamide 1 g
0.2 M Tris-maleate, pH 6.0 1 liter

Heat to boiling; dispense 5 ml in 16 × 125 mm tubes. Autoclave at 121°C for 15 min. Cool slanted.
