Infusion broth	25 g
KNO₃ (nitrite-free)	2 g
Distilled water	1 liter

Dispense 4 ml portions into 13 × 100 mm tubes with inverted Durham tubes. Autoclave 15 min at 121°C. Final pH, 7.3 ± 0.2.
