The 13th Global Summit on Regulatory Science (GSRS23) was held in Parma, Italy, September 27-28, 2023, with pre-meeting workshops on September 26. GSRS23 was co-hosted by the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) and Global Coalition for Regulatory Science Research (GCRSR), which is comprised of regulatory-science leaders from around the world. The theme for GSRS23 was “Emerging Technologies and Their Role in Regulatory Application.” There were workshops and platform presentations from scientists representing Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, Denmark, EU, France, Hungary, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Singapore, United Kingdom, and the United States.
