FDA Shuttle Bus

General Information

The FDA shuttle is free and available to FDA employees, contractors, and visitors. The FDA shuttle runs between local Metrorail (Metro) stations and FDA facilities. The FDA shuttle also circulates around the White Oak campus. Public meeting attendee visitors may only be dropped off in the circle in front of Building 1.

The FDA shuttle bus is fully accessible to people with physical disabilities.

Shuttle Schedule

The FDA shuttle runs several times a day. Check the schedule (PDF, 299KB) for more information.

The FDA circulator shuttle runs every 8 to 10 minutes between 6:00 a.m. and 8:45 p.m. Monday through Friday around the FDA White Oak campus.

The FDA shuttle stops at local Metro stations and drops off or picks up in the traffic circle in front of Building 1. View the FDA shuttle stop location at these Metro stations:

FDA Circulator Shuttle

The FDA circulator shuttle stops on the FDA White Oak campus:

  • East Loop Road
  • Building 32/51
  • North Parking Lot
  • Building 66
  • Parking Lot 132 A and B
  • Building 75

In Case of Bad Weather

The FDA Shuttle operates according to the operating status announced by the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) for the Washington, D.C. metro area. You may also check the status of the FDA White Oak campus.

Federal Government Closed

All shuttle service will be stopped for the time that local federal government offices are closed.

2-hour Federal Government Delayed Opening

Shuttle service will begin at the first scheduled route time listed after 7:00 a.m.

3-hour Federal Government Delayed Opening

Shuttle service will begin at the first scheduled route time listed after 8:00 a.m.

Early Release

Shuttle service will continue as long as possible based on road and weather conditions and may end earlier than scheduled. Please leave the FDA as soon as you can to assure a safe trip.
