FDA-TRACK: Performance Budget
FDA's Performance Budget fulfills HHS and legislative mandates outlined in the Government Performance Results Act of 1993 (GPRA) and the GPRA Modernization Act 2010 (GPRAMA), Pub. L. No. 111-352. Per OMB Circular No. A-11 Part 6, Agencies are expected to work with their components to identify priorities, goals, performance indicators, and other indicators relative to the mission and strategic objectives of the agency. Some of the required activities under GPRA/GRAMA include:
- FDA's Four-Year Strategic Plan: Align performance measures to a HHS/FDA strategic plan framework; work with the Centers/Programs to align performance measures to respective Center/Program stategic plans.
- FDA's Annual Performance Plan and Report: Coordinate with the Centers/Programs to identify, track, and report relevant annual performance measure data, goals, and results.
- Cross-Agency Priority Goals and Agency Priority Goals: Develop, track, and report performance measures that contribute to HHS Priority Goals and Cross-Agency initiatives.
- FDA's Performance Budget Measures: Develop key annual GPRA outcome performance measures that are derived, tracked, and reported from monthly/quarterly output performance measures, data, and results.
