This webinar commemorated the 10th anniversary of the award-winning “The Real Cost” youth tobacco prevention campaign. Presenters provided information about the impact of the campaign on youth tobacco use and the importance of public education to CTP’s comprehensive tobacco regulation efforts. The webinar also emphasized the campaign’s ability to adapt, success stories, and its future. Additionally, presenters shared information about best practices in youth media targeting, creative development, and the extensive research and scientific support that informs CTP’s campaign messaging. Following the presentation, the FDA panel addressed questions submitted by attendees about “The Real Cost” campaign.
