Agency Level - Technology Transfer Program Office
The Technology Transfer Program (TTP) Office, within the FDA Office of Acquisitions and Grants Services (OAGS), is responsible for FDA technology transfer activities, including patents, licensing, collaborative research agreements, and other technology transfer agreements. The Office’s experts review and approve agreements such as Cooperative Research and Development Agreements (CRADAs) and Material Transfer Agreements (MTAs), manage patents and licensing activities, and work with companies interested in licensing or further developing FDA technologies.

FDA Technology Transfer Points of Contact
FDA Intellectual Property and Partnerships Manager (IPPMs) are assigned to support the Agency’s Centers, Offices, and Programs (COPs) are available to assist with collaboration and technology transfer questions. They provide support throughout the process for establishing Cooperative Research and Development Agreements (CRADAs), Material Transfer Agreements (MTAs), and other agreements, and assist with matters related to intellectual property, patents, licensing, collaborations, and technology transfer.
