Information Technology Specialists

Due to OCI’s unique role within the FDA and the nature of our work, a team of dedicated Information Technology (IT) specialists are required to keep proprietary systems operational and to troubleshoot any issues or challenges that may arise, from the routine to complex.

• Managing Software: IT specialists oversee the provisioning and deployment of software and equipment to other OCI personnel while ensuring that any potential issues are promptly addressed.
• Safeguarding Security: IT specialists ensure the security of OCI’s systems and networks to prevent malicious actors from gaining access to sensitive information.
• Managing Systems: IT specialists oversee the development and implementation of new or updated systems and coordinating their testing and deployment.
• Sustaining Operations: IT specialists maintain backups of critical systems to ensure functionality and continuity of operations in case of emergency and in conjunction with the requirements set forth by the National Institute of Standards & Technology and any other applicable regulations.
