- Monthly Maintenance (Non-Appian Components)
- Frequency: Once a month, typically on the last weekend.
- Purpose: Apply FDA-required security patches to core, non-Appian components.
- User Impact: No expected downtime as components are patched individually with failover systems in place. Occasionally, larger updates may involve minimal downtime.
- Weekly Maintenance (Database Updates)
- Frequency: Once a week, scheduled during low-traffic periods (e.g., early Sunday mornings).
- Duration: 1-2 hours, with brief downtime of 10-20 minutes depending on the update.
- Purpose: Apply necessary database updates for security and stability. Not every week will require updates, but critical updates are addressed immediately as needed.

- May 2025: Monthly Patch - May 24-25; Weekly Maintenance: May 4, 11, 18, 25 (1-2 AM)
