| pLEO | Provisional Laboratory Evaluation Officer. Person evaluated by a certified LEO on behalf of the FDA/LPET and approved to perform the same functions as a LEO as specified in M-a-100. |
| SRO | Sanitation Rating Officer. |
| SRO (F) | Sanitation Rating Officer -Farms Only. |
| SRO (P) | Sanitation Rating Officer -Plants Only. |
| SRO (R/T) | Sanitation Rating Officer -Receiving and/or Transfer Stations. The designation may stand alone or may accompany a "Plants only" or "Farms only" certification. |
| SSO | Sample Surveillance Officer. |
| SSO (P) | Sample Surveillance Officer. – Plants |
| SSO (BH) | Sample Surveillance Officer. – Bulk Haulers |
