Anne C. Porada Reid, MS, Southeast Region (SER), Acting Regional Food and Drug Director (RFDD)
Anne C. Porada Reid is the acting regional food and drug director (RFDD) for the Southeast Region in the Office of Regulatory Affairs (ORA) at the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Ms. Reid first joined FDA in 1990 as a chemist in the Southeast Regional Laboratory (SRL). She held several positions in the laboratory, including director of the Atlanta Center for Nutritional Analysis. She joined the regional office in 2010 as the deputy regional food and drug director. She has been serving as the ARFDD since 2012. She also serves as the acting program director for Tobacco Products. Ms. Reid received her Bachelor of Science in biochemistry and Master of Science in food science from Mississippi State University.
