Leadership Role

David K. Glasgow

David K. Glasgow is the deputy director of the Office of Bioresearch Monitoring Operations within the Office of Regulatory Affairs (ORA) in the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). He is responsible for working with each of FDA’s product centers, ORA OBIMO HQ, and the field organization to carry out the inspectional duties of the Bioresearch Monitoring Program.

Mr. Glasgow has been with FDA/ORA since 1987.  He has worked in six district offices across the country as an investigator, supervisor, and manager, and in ORA headquarters as a division director and deputy office director.  He has conducted import operations and inspections in all FDA-regulated commodities, both foreign and domestic.  He was also a Bioresearch Monitoring Specialist as an investigator and still enjoys conducting inspections as time allows.

Mr. Glasgow is keenly interested in training and developing staff.  One of his passions is to help provide a solid foundation for newly hired employees to help them reach their full potential as FDA employees.  He enjoys mentoring staff formally and informally as they pursue their ambitions in FDA and beyond.
