Update on Mexican Regulatory Agency

As of 2018, the Mexican Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Rural Development, Fisheries and Food (SAGARPA) modified its name to the Secretariat of Agriculture and Rural Development (SADER). The legal role, functions, and responsibilities of SAGARPA remain under SADER. SADER commits to implementing the 2004 Confidentiality Commitment Statement of Legal Authority and Commitment between FDA and the former SAGARPA as written, and will continue to protect FDA-provided non-public information provided previously or in the future under the 2004 Confidentiality Commitment Statement of Legal Authority and Commitment with SAGARPA.
