Update on Confidentiality Commitment with Australian Government Department of Health and Ageing

“The Australian Government Department of Health and Ageing had an organisation name change to the Department of Health in 2013.  In May 2022, the Department of Health had an organisation name change to the Department of Health and Aged Care. The Department of Health and Aged Care underwent an organisational name change in 2025 to become the Australian Government Department of Health, Disability and Ageing. The legal role, functions, and responsibilities have continued unchanged under the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing.

The Department of Health, Disability and Ageing commits to implementing the 2012 Confidentiality Commitment Statement of Legal Authority and Commitment with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and will continue to protect all FDA‑provided non‑public information (NPI) previously shared under that Commitment, as well as any NPI that may be shared in the future pursuant to it.”
