FDA Holding Public Meeting in Preparation for International Cooperation on Cosmetics Regulatory Meeting

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration's Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition (CFSAN) is announcing it will hold a public meeting in College Park, MD on June 15, 2016, entitled “International Cooperation on Cosmetics Regulation (ICCR)--Preparation for ICCR-10 Meeting.” CFSAN's Office of Cosmetics and Colors, the office convening the meeting, is responsible for the federal regulation of cosmetic products in the United States.
The purpose of the meeting is to invite public input on various topics pertaining to the regulation of cosmetics. We may use this feedback to help us prepare for the ICCR-10 meeting that will be held in Bethesda, Maryland on July 12-14, 2016.
The public meeting will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on June 15, 2016 at the Food and Drug Administration, Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition, 5100 Paint Branch Parkway, Wiley Auditorium (first floor), College Park, Maryland 20740. The closing date to register for attendance or to request to make an oral presentation is June 1, 2016.
