FDA to Hold Public Meeting in Preparation for International Cooperation on Cosmetics Regulation (ICCR-11) Meeting

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced today that it will hold a public meeting to receive input on topics pertaining to the regulation of cosmetics to help the agency prepare for the International Cooperation on Cosmetics Regulation-11 (ICCR-11) meeting to be held July 12-14, 2017, in Brasilia, Brazil.
The public meeting will be held on May 25, 2017, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Harvey W. Wiley Federal Building, 5001 Campus Drive, Auditorium (first floor), College Park, MD 20740. The closing date to register for attendance or to request to make an oral presentation is May 11, 2017.
ICCR is a voluntary international group of cosmetics regulatory authorities from Brazil, Canada, the European Union, Japan, and the United States. The ICCR members work together to make decisions through consensus that will be compatible with the laws, policies, rules, regulations and directives of the respective administrations and governments. The FDA encourages members of the public to present proposals for future ICCR agenda items and/or data, information, or views on pending issues orally or in writing at the public meeting.
