‘Conversation’ Series: Expert Insights on Protecting Consumers – Both People and Animals
Constituent Update
July 6, 2017
In a new series of Q&A conversations, experts in FDA’s Foods and Veterinary Medicine (FVM) program talk in-depth about a variety of issues under FVM’s umbrella. Experts provide behind-the-scenes insights into the complex issues that affect public health, including food safety, nutrition, science, cosmetic oversight and animal health. The scope is both national and international.
The conversations we’ve posted so far focus on stakeholder engagement, the safety of imported foods, federal-state partnerships, whole genome sequencing, FDA oversight of recalls, and monitoring the safety of cosmetics. And this is just the beginning.
