Accreditation of Laboratories to Conduct Food Testing (Proposed Rule) Preliminary Regulatory Impact Analysis

We are proposing to establish a program for testing food by participating laboratories with oversight by participating accreditation bodies. The program will ensure that certain food testing important to public health is conducted with appropriate oversight and according to appropriate model standards.
