New Adult Smoking Cessation Posters Available for Free Ordering
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) Center for Tobacco Products is releasing new posters to encourage adult smoking cessation. These free educational materials are part of FDA’s ongoing efforts to reduce the significant public health burden of tobacco use. Despite progress, cigarette smoking remains the leading cause of tobacco-related disease and death in the United States.
The new posters feature positive, motivational messaging to encourage adults who smoke cigarettes to keep trying until they successfully quit for good.
The posters direct individuals to EveryTryCounts.gov, a website developed in partnership with the National Cancer Institute. The website offers access to online smoking cessation counselors that provide support and quitting resources.
FDA encourages healthcare professionals, community organizations, and other stakeholders to leverage these free materials, which are available for order, download, and print through the Tobacco Education Resource Library.
