The winners of the annual “America’s Got Regulatory Science Talent Competition” from the University of Maryland CERSI and University of Rochester presented their winning ideas at FDA. Students competed by presenting a proposed solution to a current challenge in regulatory science. To identify needs in regulatory science, the students were encouraged to consult the scientific priority areas identified in the FDA Strategic Plan For Regulatory Science. Each presentation was evaluated for the quality, novelty, and potential significance/feasibility of the proposed solution by a panel of judges.
