I. BACKGROUND

The FDA and PDS are bringing together leaders in oncology drug development and research from academia, government, and industry to identify new ways to share and analyze patient-level data from clinical trials and the healthcare delivery system to advance cancer research and the public health. The symposium will address accelerating cancer research through broad sharing of patient-level data.

Goals and Objectives

  • To provide a forum for open discussion between leaders in oncology treatment and research & development from academic, government, and industry.
  • To identify use cases for patient-level data that may help accelerate cancer research through new approaches such as crowdsourcing and big data analytics.
  • To provide an update on the progress of FDA’s Information Exchange and Data Transformation (INFORMED) Program

Who Should Attend

Senior oncology researchers, clinicians, and executives from academia, government, and industry.
