I. Background:
FDA and Project Data Sphere (PDS) are bringing together leaders in oncology regulatory science and drug development from academia, government, and industry to discuss strategies for responsible sharing of patient-level data from clinical trials in support of new discoveries in cancer treatment and prevention. Topics on the agenda include advantages of an open-access data sharing model, privacy-preserving protocol for sharing sensitive data, FDA’s Information Exchange and Data Transformation Initiative (INFORMED), and the Oncology Center of Excellence (OCE).
