I.   Background:

FDA and Project Data Sphere (PDSdisclaimer icon) are bringing together leaders in oncology regulatory science and drug development from academia, government, and industry to discuss strategies for responsible sharing of patient-level data from clinical trials in support of new discoveries in cancer treatment and prevention. Topics on the agenda include advantages of an open-access data sharing modeldisclaimer icon, privacy-preserving protocol for sharing sensitive data, FDA’s Information Exchange and Data Transformation Initiative (INFORMED), and the Oncology Center of Excellence (OCE).
