DDI Webinar Series: “The Etiologies of Drug Shortages”- November 8, 2016

FDA’s Division of Drug Information in the Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (CDER) is excited to present a series of educational webinars targeting the needs of all healthcare professionals and students, including physicians, physician assistants, nurses, pharmacists, and pharmacy technicians. Interact with FDA staff from a variety of divisions and learn more about the FDA and drug regulation!

 
On November 8, 2016, CDER's Office of Communication, Division of Drug Information (DDI) hosted a webinar titled: The Etiologies of Drug Shortages. There have been number of drug shortage in the last few years and it continues to be an issue that impacts the public. Therefore, staff from CDER's Drug Shortage Staff (DSS) provided an overview of the Drug Shortage program, reasons for shortage, as well as their role in mitigating and prevention of shortages.
