Veterinary Feed Directive for Feed Distributors (video)

As of January 1, 2017, medically important antimicrobials in medicated feed are veterinary feed directive (VFD) drugs and the resulting VFD feed must be authorized by a licensed veterinarian and distributed and used in compliance with the VFD regulation. This video explains these changes and provides an overview of how the VFD regulation is going to affect VFD feed distributors.
