Gabriel Bridges Program Analyst, MM, MHRM

Q1: How did your career begin at FDA?

Gabriel Bridges: I started in the FDA as a Consumer Safety Technician in the Division of Human and Animal Food (HAF-E3). I then moved over to the Division of Field Administration. From there I became a Contracting Officer’s Representative in the Division of Contracts and Grants.  Currently, I am a Program Analyst in the Division of Work Planning and Analytics.

Q2: What do you value most about working at FDA?

GB: At the FDA, you're learning not only the substance, but how to operate in the broader governmental context and in an even broader ecosystem consisting of patients, healthcare providers, industry and essentially, all of the American public.

Q3: What are you most proud of in terms of your work at FDA?

GB: I find the work that I do interesting, challenging and presents me with potential for growth as a person and a professional.

Q4: What advice would you give to an FDA job seeker?

GB: I highly recommend FDA as a way to diversify your background and work with a team. I have no regrets.

Q5: When you're not at work, what is your favorite way to unwind?

GB: Spend time with my family.
