DASHO Award for Excellence in Laboratory Science and Safety Practices

This prestigious award recognizes individuals or teams who have significantly contributed to the enhancement of laboratory science, safety, and security practices at the FDA. This award is open to laboratory staff, supervisors, scientists, principal investigators, safety professionals (OSHOs and Industrial Hygienists), collateral safety duty officers, and volunteers. This award recognizes innovative and proactive practices in laboratory science and safety that improve laboratory operations and occupational safety and health programs at the FDA. Recipients embody innovation, excellence, and a commitment to elevating laboratory science and safety standards, setting a benchmark that inspires others to prioritize the agency’s mission and the welfare of its scientific workforce.
