This guidance addresses the process by which the Food and Drug Administration (FDA or Agency) intends to carry out section 586C(c) of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FD&C Act) (21 U.S.C. 360fff-3(c)), as amended by Public Law 113-195 (also referred to as the Sunscreen Innovation Act (SIA)).
