Psychiatric drug advertisements that represent their drugs as a way to handle chemical imbalances are in the realm of false advertising. Such a chemical imbalance has never been proven to to cause depression. This misleading claim in a marketing technique is unethical at best. I for one turn off the television whenever I see one of these type ads. I think the FDA would want to investigate this claim and get to the SOURCE of these lies.
