I am a proponent of using drugs and medication as little as possible;and only to improve a known condition.
Psychiatric medicating is not a proven means to alleviate the mental problems people have. These drugs/medication should not be sponsered by law or government agencies. Psychiatry has a longstanding history of abuse with medication and actions underwhich any other person would be arrested and jailed. Examples would be prefrontal lobatomys, induced insulin shock; and excessive restraint. Drugging with the use of lithium, ritalin and thorazine, to name just a few. A recent search on the internet found about one hundred drugs for psychiatric maladies. Makes you wonder why? Well money would play a big part in it. Now I'm not against drugs when a known outcome to alleviate a known disease is used. But I am against drugging to make children sit in their chair without moving. Or telling mom that the child is speaking out in class and this drug will help.
Or because your uncomforatable in social situation take this. A pill does not take the place of parenting or teaching.

I ask that you please consider the history of drugs and other things Ive already mentionned; and look to the future where hard work in bringing up children makes
healthy and happy people. And a culture that realizes problems in life can not be resolved with pills but with spirit and resolve.

Thank you
