Dear FDA: My great Aunt Marion, who was a vibrant, productive highly regarded businesswoman of Orleans Cape Cod was suffering from a Urinary Tract infection. She was 90 years old and of sound mind. In September, she was put on Resperdol and died weeks later, her infection was never fully handled. The FDA has put a black box label on antidepressants and antipsychotics because the evidence has shown that they cause suicide and death. If you allow drug companies to advertise that they are safe and effective, that is slander. The president of the APA said there was no conclusive proof of a chemical imbalance in the brain. If there were such a thing, why are not patients tested for this imbalance before given these drugs? If you allow this type of false advertising by drug companies, that is medical fraud. Please do not allow this in any way. Concerned Citizen Abbi Baldarelli
