| I don't like the medicine ads. I have found out about conditions I've never heard of and never wanted to know about. Then I have to listen to the side effects which I'd rather not hear about.
We promote to our children 'don't do drugs' and then all you see on tv is ads promoting drugs. If more Americans would just use discipline to eat right and exercise (I know it's tough, but it is do-able), many of these drugs would be unneccessary. I speak from experience when I say that; I was prescribed heart medication for heart palpitations that were really making themself known. Shortly after that (for other reasons) I stopped eating carbohydrates (bread, sugar, etc) and the palpitations went away!
