I must add my voice to those who are urging the FDA to stop pharmaceutical companies from false advertising. At a minimum, if the FDA is going to continue to allow direct to consumer advertising it ought to be responsible enough to require them to be truthful. In fact, the entire direct to consumer advertising experiment has proven to be a huge debacle with very serious negative health results and such advertising should be re- banned.
