It is important for food items to be labeled 'gluten free ' because I have health problems and can not tolerate any form of gluten and it takes an average 20 to 30 minutes more to grocery shop to read the labels to see if anything that is listed in the product is gluten, it would be so much easier if the labels were marked. I do shop in Whole Foods Market and they offer brochures that list all the gluten free products they offer. If the other stores offered that it would make our life so much easier. If I eat something that may have gluten in it, that will affect my stomach and my iron which causes anemia, and other health issues. The foods that are labeled now are about 3% of what I purchase. Please enforce the need for labeling
