Issue Areas/Comments
I would like for "gluten-free" on a food label to mean that the food contains no wheat, barley, rye, or oats in amounts greater than 20 ppm. For foods that would normally contain gluten, such as breads, crackers, cereals, flours, I generally require a "gluten-free" label, rather than just reading ingredients. I spend several minutes of each grocery trip reading labels.
"Gluten-free" on a label greatly influences my decision to buy a product.
