It would be very helpful to my family if the federal government would define gluten-free and manage it's labeling. I understand there are limitations re how many parts per million of gluten can currently be detected. For this reason, I'd like to request that there be two label options -- gluten-free product and all gluten-free ingredients. The second option would indicate a "purer" product. Consciencious companaies could opt for better testing and more precise labeling and Celiac consumers could have greater power to shop with their personal risk tolerance.
