| I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease just over a year ago and my life has changed completely since then. I find grocery shopping and eating in restaurants to be not at all simple anymore. Unfortunately, gluten is not an ingredient and, therefore, need not be listed on labels. The simplest thing such as asprin, cough medicine must be researched to determine gluten content. I find that I continue to use the same product once I've identified that it is safe for me to consume. Gluten labeling would allow us to use more products with security in knowing they will not make us sick.
