I have a 14-year-old daughter with celiac disease, and the words "Gluten Free" (GF) on a product label can mean the difference between health and misery. Often, however, we find products labeled GF which contain maltodextrin or regular soy sauce or lots of other things with hidden gluten. A reliable GF label, enforced by the government, would be of enormous benefit to us, our friends, and our family members who try to accommodate my daughter's needs. Such a label would guarantee that the product had been tested regularly, and that the gluten content was below some X ppm. Thank you for your concern.
