As a Celiac victim, I find it very difficult to buy groceries. Even those labeled "Gluten free" sometimes have gluten in them. It is very important that foods be labeled "Gluten free", not just wheat free. Gluten is in food coloring, seasonings, food starch and is used as a filler in some products. Celiac or Sprue disease (gluten intolerance) attacks 1 in 130 people today. This is no longer a rare disease. We need the help of proper food labeling in order to lead a tolerable quality of life. Please make it a requirement to test food for gluten and then appropriately label those that are gluten free or that contain gluten.
