"Gluten-free"on a label should mean only the presence of trace amounts of gluten from wheat,barley,rye,&oats,such as less than 200 parts per million. All the food I consume is gluten-free and I spend hours checking labels to decifer contents. I counsel patients that need to be gluten-free also to check all of their labels of processed foods. Proper labeling will be so helpful. For some, the effect of gluten can be immediate and disastrous. Thank you. Nancy Schuller, R.D.
