I feel gluten free should mean just that. no gluten. I was very sick when i found out i had cd. a little ingestion of gluten would have been a set back. When i go to the store it takes a long time to determine if some products have gluten or not, some clearly state, others do not. If i have doubts about an ingredient, i just wont buy it. Not enough products mark if it is gluten free or not, if it is marked gluten free, i would buy it, but i also check the ingredient list just to be safe. not all the time is it gluten free. As sick as i was, it would have been easier to shop if things were marked better, and not have to play the game of does it or does'nt it, a trace or no trace, people have different sensitivities to gluten, I was very sensitive, that trace amount could have been, in my case, deadly. So when you are considering how the labels should read, Please, gluten free is just that.
